Known for her eye for style and flair for fashion, we recently welcomed Stylist and Personal Brand Coach Vicky Booker to our Chichester store. Below the lovely Vicky chats through her top Rosie Rose edit for Winter 2020 and offers up some of her signature styling tips…

Tan Duvet Coat
The first piece to catch my eye was this amazing duvet coat. Puffer jackets have been a really strong trend over the last few seasons, and one which is showing no sign of slowing down. This piece is a great modern take on the look due to its asymmetric fastening and hood detail. It would look as stylish worn with jeans as it would with sleek black - a perfect winter coat.

Vicky's Top Tip - This beautiful tan colour would look incredible on those with warm, autumnal colouring.

Military Jacket
I’m quite partial to a bit of military styling, especially in the form of a jacket. This is a great example of a really wearable jacket, it isn't too structured and the fabric is really soft. The slightly cropped length means it would work just as well over a dress as it would with leather trousers and ankle boots. Definitely one I’m adding to my Christmas list!

Vicky's Top Tip - When shopping for jackets look out for curved darting at the back as this helps give a really flattering silhouette.

Grey Cocoon Coatigan
As cosy as a coat but soft as a cardigan, this cocoon style coatigan makes a great versatile addition to your wardrobe. Perfect for throwing on over a polo neck or adding a smarter element to your everyday style. Available in a variety of colours - I love this stunning textured grey as it’s a great neutral.

Vicky's Top Tip - Coatigans are an easy and relaxed way to smarten up a day-to-day outfit whilst remaining comfortable - an important quality in this era of Zoom!

Teal Layered Top
A great top for easy to wear chic. The in-built layering and touch of sparkle elevates this piece beautifully but it is the stunning mid teal shade which won this piece a place on my top picks list.

Vicky's Top Tip - Teal is what is known as a universal colour which means it suits pretty much everyone, a perfect choice for those days when you just can't decide what to wear.

Khaki Joggers
Soft as can be, these joggers are the ultimate in lockdown luxe. Unbelievably comfortable and available in lots of colours, the slight stretch to the fabric makes these a more flattering option than the standard jogger.

Vicky's Top Tip - Don't think just because something is traditionally seen as loungewear you can't dress it up. I picked a lovely silky pink camisole which would look amazing French tucked in to these trousers and paired with either ankle boots or caged sandals and a pair of statement earrings for a more edgy evening look.

Pink Jumper
I just love the colour of this soft jumper! As well as the beautiful tone, the tapered hem of this piece gives it shape and makes it super flattering and the pretty detailing on the sleeves gives an added touch of luxury.

Vicky's Top Tip - Accessorise, accessorise! A necklace or lightweight scarf is such a quick and easy way to lift a simple piece and bring a whole new dimension to your look.

Rock & Roll Jumper
This jumper may look fairly simple at first glance but turn it around and it is totally Rock & Roll! This quirky knit is great fun and - although a little ironic for me as I’m really not that cool - there are lots of people I know who would look completely fabulous in this piece.

Vicky's Top Tip - Pair with combat style boots and skinny leather trousers for a cool take on Christmas styling.

Blue Long-line Cardigan
Cardigans have really been having a moment of late and this is a good example of a smarter but still easy to wear version. The electric blue colour is a nice departure from the usual black and grey synonymous with this time of year and the in-built belt clinches the waist and, combined with the longer length, gives a super flattering silhouette for all body shapes.

Vicky's Top Tip - Electric blue looks fabulous on people with slightly cooler or brighter colouring.
